Final Fantasy XII Bazaar

As you know, there is no real money to be gotten from battles or enemies in XII. You get what is known as loot, after battles. This is where your money will come from. Take your loot to any merchandiser, and sell it for Gil. If you sell the right amount of items, you will get a message stating there is new items in the Bazaar.
The Bazaar can be accessed from any shop in the game. You don't even have to sell the full amount of the package requirements at once to get the Bazaar item. The game will keep track of what you have turned in for you.
First lets hit on the loot a bit. Loot is the items that are dropped by enemies. This loot can be a common or rare drop. It is difficult to get the rare drops, until you are able to obtain the corresponding Grimoire for that enemy type. Any time you can, you should sell off your loot to the merchandisers. This will get you new items in the Bazaar quickly.
Bazaar packages are what comes out of turning in your loot. For example, if you turn in three Giant Feathers, you can then buy the Triage Kit. This contains 12 Phoenix Downs, and 3 Hi-Potions. Some Bazaar packages are worth getting, because it is cheaper to get the items this way, then from regular shops. Also this is the only place to get certain items, weapons and armor. You should try to unlock all of the packages, so you can get these beneficial things.
Grimoires appear for sale in the Bazaar, when the requirements for them have been met. They are certainly not cheap, but well worth the buy. Grimoires enhance the frequency and rarity of loot dropped by the enemies. This makes them some of the most valuable things in the game. The Morbid Urn makes enemies drop Arcana. This is an extremely rare type of loot to get, but I suggest waiting on it. It is my opinion, that once you get this item, the drop will go to Arcana 80% of the time. You will then lose the ability to amass common and rare loot from your enemies.
