The Bat familiar is a small attacker. It will rush off and hit your enemies for small damage. As it gains levels, more bats will join in the fight. When it reaches level 90, the maximum amount of bats (4) will begin fighting for you. |

The Ghost Familiar will adhere to an enemy, and drain them of their HP, transfering it to Alucard. As this suctioning spirits level increases, so does the HP it transfers to you. |

The demon will occasionally attack your enemies with its spear. At level 75-80, it will begin striking with fire, ice, or lightning based attacks. But it's big purpose is to open the hidden switches in the Abandoned Mines. Otherwise the damage dealt to the enemies is not very high. |

The Faerie Familiar is primarily a defense familiar. She will begin to heal you of petrification, with experience. After level 80, she will begin learning spells to defend against such things as Ice, Fire, and Lightning. Her major contribution is finding things that are hidden. If you pass an area with a hidden item or room, she will let you know. A good thing to have for those who are trying to get the map covered, or want to uncover various items. |

Simply the best familiar there is. The Sword Familiar will voluntariliy attack the enemy you are closest to, when you step towards them. It will also immediately attack, if Alucard sustains damage. Once the Sword Familiar hits level 50, you will be able to equip it as a sword. This is an awesome weapon to get, and it is one of the best in the game. When the familiar hits level 80, it's attack pattern will change. It will not swing in circles, but rather in a striking form like normal sword swings. This will cause up to 300 in damage to your enemies. At level 99 it will dish out 500+ damage. This will be the strongest familiar you have at this time. |
