Soma Cruz Soma Cruz is a foriegn exchange student who resides in Japan. He has come to the White Horse Shrine to view the solar eclipse, but when he gets there, he is knocked unconcience. When Soma wakes, he finds himself inside a very mysterious castle. Mysterious... but somewhat familiar.

Mina Hakuba Mina is Soma's childhood friend and classmate. She has come to also see the solar eclipse at the shrine which is run by her father. When Soma is taken to the castle, Mina finds herself there as well.

Yoko Belnades Yoko was sent to the castle, at the behest of her church, to learn what she can about the prophecy of Dracula's resurection. She runs into Soma, and decides to assist him with information, whenever it becomes available.

Genya Arikado Arikado is a very powerful man indeed. He has something of a cold demeanor, that would almost lead you to believe he is not one of the good guys. Yet his ability to keep Soma out of trouble, as well as his intimate knowledge of the castle and Dracula's history prove him to be a great ally indeed.

Hammer Hammer is a member of the military, that was sent to investigate the shrine. When he comes upon the castle, he decides to set up a shop for Soma to get supplies from while they are there.

J J suffers from amnesia that came into effect back in 1999. He possesses great magical power, but cannot explain why, nor can he figure out why he seemed to be summoned to this castle.

Graham Jones Graham is the founder of a new unknown religious sect of devout followers. He has great magical abilities, and like Soma was born in 1999 during the last eclipse. Not much is known about him otherwise, but he seems to be the reason everyone was transported to the castle from the shrine.
